Hertford Passion Play

The Hertford Passion Play is an ensemble effort. The story of Jesus’s final days is being written by Hertford playwright Kate Miller. Kate will run the play with St Andrew’s vicar Alan Stewart. As well as Hertford Theatre’s artistic director Rhys Thomas and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre’s press and PR manager Julia Hollet.

Revd Stewart said: “Our hope is that this will be a community project. The scale and feasibility of the production will largely depend upon the volunteer contribution of folk from the local churches and community. We are actively exploring funding options for the Hertford Passion Play. And so would invite anyone to contact us who might know of any possible revenue streams available for the project.”
