New Malden

“Churches Together in New Malden” invite you to take part in a Community Passion Play, Saturday 13th April 2019 at Blagdon Road Recreation Ground*

We are looking for a true cross-section of the community and all ages to take part in this community project, a Passion Play, the story of Jesus’ final week. We would love to involve many diverse groups and individuals from New Malden and to hear languages other than English (under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Groups can rehearse a song / dance / piece in their normal schedule. General crowd members can come to a few rehearsals. Those who love to act and be main characters will need more rehearsals.

Auditions

Join us at The Space, New Malden United Reformed Church on November 30th at 7.30pm & December 1st 3.00pm.

This is your chance to be part of the performing aspect of the New Malden Passion Play – so come! We have two audition slots in the hope that most people can come to one.

The auditions will not be scary. If you would like to say lines or sing solo in the Passion then you will need to do so in the audition but if you want to be a member of the crowd or sing in a choir then you won’t have to do anything on your own! Dance groups and choirs please prepare a minute of performance. If you would like to play an instrument, or share a potential special skill like juggling then please come prepared.
